You can not ignore in any circumstances the GK related to Parliamentary affairs. There are several forms ion which it may be useful:
1. vocabulary - special words used in the parliamentary context, such as: casting vote, prorogue, speaker, anti-defection etc.
2. legal gk
3. current affairs
4. reading comprehension: since very often they give a passage that is talking about parliamentary affairs
5. static gk
For instance,
The Chairman of the Rajya Sabha performs the work of presiding over the meetings of the Rajya Sabha. But, he cannot vote as he is not a member of the House. He can only exercise a casting vote.
Imagine all the questions that can be formed from this information.
