CLAThacker

don't just crack CLAT, come hack CLAT with us.

I found that there is a big difference in the no. of total student in an institute and actually sitting for placement.

Like in NUJS batch size is around 120  but around 65-70 students are sitting for placement

In NLIU 85 is batch strength but only 45 are appearing in placement.

Why so less people are eligible for placement? Is there any catch?

Is there any other criteria to appear in the placement activity eg % of marks ie below a certain marks people are not allowed?

can the students admitted in NRI quota , are eligible to appear in placement process?

Please reply.

While to many of you the placements look like an amazing opportunity, in reality they are not. Law firms are not everyone's dream employers. A large number of people opt for LLM, teaching, judiciary, UPSC, army and litigation. There are others who want to work with PSUs etc - and they have not sat for recruitment yet.

I remember in my batch at least 20 people did not have any intention to sit for recruitments.

Thanks Ramanuj to clarify with first hand data
